The Black Musselcracker or Poenskop is a superb fighting fish species and can be caught in river mouths, surf zones, rocky areas and offshore. The Black Musselcracker is under threat so I urge all saltwater anglers to release this fish and let the Poenskop recover their fish stocks so we can keep catching this strong beautiful species of Mussel Cracker...
