The Ridgeback Grey Shark, also known as the Dusky or Grey Shark is one of the most common shark fish species you will find in South African waters. The Grey Shark grows to enormous sizes even though most anglers only catch Grey (Dusky) Sharks below 40 kilograms. The Grey Shark is mainly an offshore predator and can live for over 20 years.
