South Africa's Yellowbelly Rockcod Photographs & Pictures (Dusky Perch)

The Yellowbelly Rockcod, known elsewhere in the world as the Dusky Grouper or Dusky Perch is a beautiful saltwater fish that lives on the bottom of the ocean. The Yellowbelly Rockcod is often a sign that the reef and food structures on the bottom are in good condition. When a fishing spot starts producing fewer Yellow belly Rock Cod it is either because the reef fished on has become unhealthy or there are no Yellowbelly Rockcods on the reef anymore due to overfishing.
