The Catface Rockcod is an aggressive predatory saltwater fish related to the Brindle Bass. They are common in all sorts of water habitats and various depths. The Catface Rockcod can be caught in rivers and estuaries (Especially in the Eastern Cape) and can be caught in the surf zone and offshore in the depths of the ocean.
